Aulia is one of the villages, where late Sr. Cristabaldis SSpS, a German missionary, started caring for the leprosy patients in the year 1965. Gradually a hospital along with an out patient department came up. The cured patients are rehabilitated..
SSpS provide accommodation for the girl children from the interior villages. The sisters take care of the intellectual, physical and psychological development of the children in order to create an integrated society for India.
