We began a new day with the prayer by reflecting on the wonderful gift of life of Archbishop Oscar Romero, who is going to be canonised on Sunday 14th October 2018.
The session was presented by Matthew Sanders, the founder of the digital design and strategic firm called Longbeard, about the theme Branding: Designing our congregational Public Image. He underlined that, our brand is our promise to people we serve. It tells them what they can expect from our service and it is derived from who we are, who we want to be and who people perceive us to be. The foundation for building our brand, is to determine the target audience that we’ll be focusing on. The most important element of the brand building process, is to create a brand logo and tagline for our Congregation. Our voice is dependent on our Congregation’s mission, audience, and works. The brand should help us to accomplish our mission. He said that our logo is a visual representation of everything our Congregation stands for, should clearly characterize our mission.
The second session in the morning was led by Sr. Marides Santos, SSpS on redesigning our Congregational Logo. The session finished with an open discussion.
In the afternoon we worked in the continental group. Then Sr. Mikaelin gave us a short introduction to our recollection and the rest of the day we spent in silence.
